Were they working together?

There are several scenarios that I think are plausible.

The first one, and the most obvious, is Brandon had enough of Joe’s shit. Plain and simple. Maybe he drove down there to confront him and things went sideways. I honestly do not think he went down there with the intention of murder. I just do not. I know for a fact he kept a gun in his truck though. Maybe Joe said something that was triggering. It is definitely within the realm of possibility.

Maybe, and this is the one I believe, is that Joe got him down there somehow. The police say they did not have any contact beforehand. I just do not buy that. Joe was manipulative and sneaky.

Or was Brandon scheming in some way? Was Joe involved in that? He took out a life insurance policy. He recorded crazy notes. He was telling people if he died, then it was definitely me who did it. Was Brandon trying to entrap him somehow? Was it a completely off the rails, crazy scenario?

It is known that Brandon drove down there earlier in the year. Did they meet up? Did they speak?

I don’t know what to think or what to believe. All that I know is that I do not know.
