At the sentencing hearing, the Shymanskis played a disturbing, creepy voice note that Joe had recorded. I think they’re holding it up as proof that I wanted to hurt Joe. It would be the only shred of anything saying so and it’s coming out of the narcissist’s own mouth.
I do think it is proof of something, but something way different than what they are thinking.
In the voice note he is addressing our two children, ages 8 and 9, telling them that I am a liar and a manipulator. And that I want to KILL him. It is EXTREMELY disturbing. He also describes me as “the woman he loves!”
I understand the psychology behind narcissistic abuse. I have had to learn. I have been in so much therapy that I could write a book. In order to heal and understand I had to dive deep.
Projection is a hallmark of this type of psychopathy.
It is said that an accusation from a narcissist is a confession. And this has been 100% my experience. I ABSOLUTELY believe HE was trying to kill ME. OR he was trying to make it look like I was trying to do him in. This was my gut reaction when I found out he had been murdered. What was Joe trying to do? What was he up to? And after 2 years of this hell, it is still my belief.
When I was told about this existing it was the clincher for me. I knew he had something to do with all of this. This was the proof of it. There’s intuition and knowing and my sense of both were ignited.
Why did he record this? It’s sick. I am a God driven woman and I am unshakeable in that regard. I believe strongly in God’s will and judgement. I have never said I wanted to kill him. Maybe I’ve said, I wanted him in jail. That would definitely be true. But there was one person perpetrating violence against the other. Who was chasing who and screaming FUCK YOU and DIE ? Who was trying to make me disappear for a cool $200,000? He used to chase me around our house recording me with his phone and one time he cornered me, I had to hit him to get him away from me. He then yelled “See!!! She is violent!” He had gotten his proof and it was recorded!
He was a fucking monster.
Recording this voice note when he was the one doing these things is OTHER LEVEL CRAZY. Was he playing this for my kids? Did he send it to his family? How did they get it? Do they have his devices? Where’s the rest of his recordings? I think we all have a right to see what’s there.
